During the 2005 General Assembly session, the House of Delegates and  
Senate approved a so-called "Virginia Marriage Amendment" to bar  
marriage equality, civil unions and benefits for any other non-married  
relationship, gay or straight.

This measure has to pass one more time during the 2006 session before  
going before the voters as a statewide referendum.

It passed the House, and now goes to the Senate.

Write your Senator today and urge him or her to oppose writing  
discrimination into the Virginia Constitution!
