  the SPD is the Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction. My hips have been so badly out of whack that any kind of "fun" activity is intensely painful.

      well, also, you have to understand that due to SPD, I haven't had sex since this baby was conceived -- so that whole area is definitely the Road Less Travelled at the moment.

        Congratulations!  You're in the home stretch!  And unfortunately the most agrivating stage of pregnancy.

        I dont remember the internal checks being painful or even uncomfortable at all, but I do remember telling the baby to 'go towards the light'...lol...
