My "educated" opinion would be that yes, you probably have dropped.  Good sign, congratulations, he he.  Sounds like things are starting to move along, maybe she's getting ready.  When's your next appointment?

And funnily enough, you are the first person I 'know' that has a shorter torso than I do, mine is about 1 3/4".  I'm only 5'4" but I have to wear tall people pants and I buy low-rise just so my jeans don't double as a bra too, lol.

  I was lying in bed this morning feeling sorry for myself, and I felt a TREMENDOUS wiggle and suddenly I could breathe again.  I'm not feeling any more pressure down low than I have been for weeks, but I can definitely breathe a lot easier than I used to be.  Have I dropped?  I'm incredibly short-torsoed -- there's an inch and a half between my hips and the bottom of my rib cage -- but this is noticeably really different.
